  • Only available for post-secondary students and new graduates as of December 2019.
  • Those going to post-secondary school in September 2020
  • Not available for international students

Financial assistance for Newcomers, Temporary Residents and Refugees 

Support for Learner Fund 

This funding is intended to provide parents and guardians with essential financial support for children and youth during these unprecedented times.

Parents and guardians will receive a one-time payment of $200 for each child up to age 12, or $250 for each child or youth up to age 21 with special needs.

any other media form, media channel, mobile website, or mobile application related or connected thereto
(collectively, the “Site”). Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert

PHIPA compliance and information security, the use of email as a communication tool is only restricted to
administrative purposes, and would not contain any clinical data identifiable to any one individual.
CFSO website and social media channels are NOT platforms for storage or exchange of any personal or
health information. The CFSO website does NOT have form fields which are designed for users to ask
clinical questions or submit personal or health data. Disclaimers and warnings are shown on each platform
where users are able to enter their original information, to remind user to avoid entering personal and
health information.

DERIVATIVE DATA

CFSO website does not collect derivative data, regardless of where from which type of device you access
our site.

THIRD-PARTY DATA

CFSO website does not collect third party data about your social networks, regardless of where from which
type of device you access our site.
USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized
experience. Specifically, we may use email information provided by you to:

SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

CFSO uses administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal
information. While CFSO takes reasonable steps to secure the personal information provided to us, clients
are reminded to be aware that, despite utmost efforts by CFSO, no security measures are perfect or
impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other
type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized
parties. Therefore, CFSO cannot guarantee complete security if personal information share shared online.

POLICY FOR CHILDREN

CFSO does not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If you become
aware of any data erroneously shared with us pertaining to children under age 13, please contact us at
info@cfso.care to rectify the situation.

CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

While CFSO’s website does not track any access data, the browser used may contain cached data showing a
history to CFSO’s website. Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track
(“DNT”) feature or setting that users can activate to signal privacy preference not to have data about online
browsing activities monitored and collected. Users are reminded to use such feature should they want
eliminate web surfing history.
